About

Trust & Safety

A dating community built on care.

People come to jastado to meet someone who fits their life. That only works when everyone feels respected. Here is how we look after this community - and how you can look after yourself.

How we keep it healthy

Safety is part of belonging here.

We want Match to feel warm and honest. These are the habits that make that possible.

01

Respect first

Talk to people the way you would want to be talked to. Kindness is the baseline, not a bonus.

02

Honest profiles

Your photos and answers should be yours. Real profiles help everyone trust what they see.

03

Always free to speak up

Report and block are always available. You stay in control of who you see and who can reach you.

04

We review what you send us

When something feels wrong, tell us in the app. Our team reads reports and takes them seriously.

Lines that keep this space safe for everyone.

Most people come here in good faith. These boundaries spell out what does not belong in this community:

  • Anyone under 18
  • Harassment, bullying, or hate
  • Spam or unsolicited sales pitches
  • Impersonation or someone else's photos
  • Nudity or sexual content on profiles or in chat
  • Threats, violence, scams, or fraud
  • Pressure for money, private data, or sexual content

If something feels off and does not fit a category, report it anyway. We would rather check than leave you guessing.

When you meet in person

A few habits that make first dates feel safer.

Great connections start with comfort. Keep these in mind when you decide to meet someone offline.

Meet in public

Choose a busy public place for the first few meetups. Skip private homes until you know you feel safe.

Tell someone your plans

Share where you are going and when you expect to be back. Keep your phone charged and with you.

Keep your own way home

Arrange your own transport there and back. Have a ride-share or a friend as a backup.

Trust your instincts

It is always okay to leave early if something feels wrong. Your comfort comes first.

Report and block, anytime.

If someone crosses a line, report them in the app. They will not learn who reported them or what you shared. Our team reviews every report.

Block is there when you simply want distance. You will not see each other in Match, and they cannot message you - even if you are not filing a report.

How we respond

When we find a serious issue, we may warn someone, limit Match features, or restrict an account. We can also act on illegal content or clear harm even if nobody reported it. If your access is limited, you can request a review in the app when that option is shown.

We are here if you need us.
